Two South Florida moms have combined two little girl pastimes - dolls and fashion - to launch a line of children's outerwear called Dress Me Jackets.Made of pre-washed blue denim and a silky pink satin lining, the jackets have a fabric doll, with Velco strips embroidered on the back. Each jacket costs $59.99 and comes with a denim purse holding 14 interchangeable accessories to decorate the dolls. Girls can chose from two themes - Princess and Ballerina. Jacket sizes range from size 4 through 8....
When crafty mom Lindsay Markell set out to make her daughter's denim jacket a little girlier, she unwittingly created a product that other moms, including her future business partner, would ask about on the street. Girls love the Dress Me Jacket for two reasons: First, they can mix-and-match a range of velcro hairdos, headpieces, and dresses, and attach them to the fabric doll on the back of the jacket. Once the doll is all gussied up, they can wear the jacket out on the town or to an important birthday party, and feel appropriately frilly. With bright pink stitching and rhinestone studs, the Dress Me Jacket is part outerwear, part toy, and a meta-fashion experience for little stylistas.

This jacket and toy in one is made of pre-washed, blue denim with attractive pink stitching and a silky pink satin lining. Embroidered on the back of each denim jacket is a fabric doll. Kids can dress up the doll by applying the hair, dresses and various accessories to the doll's body with easy to use Velcro backings. Dress Me Jackets aims to make getting dressed an enjoyable activity for kids as they use their imagination, fine-motor and decision-making skills to create new looks with their jacket. Each jacket includes a denim purse to carry the 14 interchangeable accessories that create the two "Princess" and "Ballerina" characters. Launch date: November 2008.
Seriously - we're talking little girls, fashion and accessories. For most, no other toy would come as naturally for them to play with! The jean jacket is adorable, and it won't take your lucky little girl long to put that on. Add the purse to the mix and you've just accessorized - or so you thought. Once our little reviewers opened the purse and saw what was inside it didn't take them long at all to figure the fun out. Jackets were off and the real accessories were added. The laughter, the smiles and the fashion shows began shortly thereafter - with all of our girls really enjoying mixing and matching. All accessories attach easily with velcro. Easy to use for sure!
